Snodgrass gives to isla cause
Snodgrass has donated 3k to the isla caton fund.. good on him.
Always makes me wonder that with all the fund raising going on and the media profile that these sort of things can generate that football stars in general don't help out more often.
Of course you cannot give to every cause but as shown today a bit of loose change in Snodgrass's pocket can make a huge difference to a cause.

Good to see that he has shoved the comments Sullivan made, back down his throat.

He seems like a good egg does Bob Snodgrass. Exemplary attitude in the face of Sullivan's usual lack of any class whatsoever too.

Several more WHU players have donated to good causes on condition they remain anonymous.

The anonymity condition is because they don’t want to be harassed by people espousing worthy causes. And who can blame them.

Steve

Some footballers do give but they ask for no publicity.

Rio gave a lot of money to programmes supporting reading for children at primary schools in Peckham.

Kanoute gave a lot of money to various projects supporting poor people in the east end when he was in London. I know this because I used to work for a charity there and he'd literally turn up in person, put a cheque in an envelope under the door without wanting to be thanked in person or in writing, and would then drive off about his business for the day. Regardless of what you thought of him as a footballer, he was a really lovely bloke to meet and talk to.
